If you’re completely new to mountain biking and would not feel confident on anything beyond a blue trail – beginners is the course for you.

If you’ve been riding for a while, are happy on red trails and want to build your trail skill set and progress to black trails, the intermediate course is for you.

If you have a very specific area  of things you’d like to work on, you’ll most likely benefit from private coaching.

If you’re planning a guided ride for you and your family and friends, we can tailor the day to suit your ability and fitness.

If you’re still not sure which course is best for you, drop us an email with a bit about your riding history and we’ll advise.

Trail centres vary from place to place and some grade of trail is not always comparable to another centres grading system.

Green Trails – Usually on fire roads or bridleways. These trails will have little to no technical difficulty and will suit novice riders for a pleasant ride.

Blue trails – These are MTB-specific trails and are usually narrower than green trails. They’re often fast and flowy and can be a lot of fun for the less experienced rider.

Red trails – These are classed as intermediate trails. They’re likely to feature obstacles like small steps, rock gardens, roots and some steeper ground.

Black trails – These are for advanced riders. They’ll often include features like rock gardens, steep descents, steep inclines, narrow walkways, drop-offs and jumps.

At all three of our locations, the parking is operated on a pay-and-display machine system, please take note of the car park closing times. Your training will finish in plenty of time but some people like to stay and practice some more.
